Sustainability requirements: Verizon requires suppliers to uphold environmental responsibility by complying with all environmental laws, including hazardous material management, pollution prevention, and natural resource protection. Suppliers must reduce waste and toxicity, integrate environmental considerations in decision-making, and address sustainability within their supply chains. Additionally, suppliers should establish environmental management systems with performance monitoring, set improvement targets, and track and report waste managed on Verizon's behalf to its Environmental, Health, and Safety team.
