Company overview and sustainability requirements

Mastercard is a global technology company in the payments industry that focuses on making transactions safe, simple, and smart.

Sustainability requirements: Suppliers are required to comply with all relevant environmental laws and regulations in their operating regions. Upon request, suppliers must track and disclose greenhouse gas emissions and commit to reducing environmental impact in order to align with Mastercard's scope 3 emissions goals. Additionally, suppliers must minimize their products' and services' environmental impact throughout their lifecycle by reducing energy use and overall waste, as well as avoiding use of hazardous materials.
