Company overview and sustainability requirements

Intel is a leading technology company known for its semiconductor chip design and manufacturing.

Sustainability requirements: Intel requires suppliers to participate in its environmental program, including completing annual CDP questionnaires on climate change and water use. Suppliers must set and publicly report GHG reduction targets, work towards 100% renewable energy for Intel-related operations by 2030, and achieve net-zero Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions by 2050. Additionally, suppliers in mainland China must register with the Institute of Public & Environmental Affairs (IPE) and address compliance issues. Intel uses a Supplier Sustainability Scorecard to track progress in climate, water, and energy areas​.
